Grant Application & Info Sandy Hollow Arts & Recreation for the Environment Grants Program Download this Program Overview (PDF, 32Kb) Who we are: Sandy Hollow Arts and Recreation for the Environment, Inc. (SHARE) is a Central Pennsylvania based non-profit organization that sponsors semi-annual music festivals to raise money for worthy environmental causes, and to enhance environmental awareness. The spring and fall festivals are entirely volunteer efforts and are intended to remind us to appreciate our precious and fragile planet, and to have fun doing it. We try to emphasize learning about environmental concerns, and strive to demonstrate environmentally sound principles in the carrying out of arts and recreational activities. Grant Program: SHARE offers two types of grants annually to individuals or organizations for projects which are consistent with our funding criteria: Environmental education for adults and children Creating a culture of conservation; using art and/or music with an environmental focus Environmental activism; working towards societal and/or institutional change, specific to the environment Preservation/ conservation projects; good stewardship of the earth The two types of grants are: Seed Grant: Start up grants for new environmental projects.
